Do Scientists Have a Solution to the Oil Crisis?

Scientists believe they have found a solution to our current oil crisis by finding a better solution for biofuels.
I am so excited about this news that I could just spit! Let me explain why!
About 100 years ago, when I first visited South Carolina and Georgia, I was enthralled with all the greenness. I was particularly captivated [...]

One good thing about Cold Weather.......

The Kudzu dies..... This picture shows the kudzu alive.....because I am too lazy to take a picture of dead kudzu. And the only thing uglier than alive kudzu is dead kudzu....( If you are talking about kudzu that is... because there is stuff uglier than kudzu...)

Doyle on Kudzu Vine, Sheffield fails to call in.

A couple of Georgia Democrats have a show called Kudzu Vine which broadcasts on Blog Talk Radio. Their most recent show was to feature Sara Doyle and Mike Sheffield, the two candidates left standing for Court of Appeals. Doyle called in but Sheffield did not. I’m not sure why, but hopefully it wasn’t because the hosts are Democrats. I’ve been on the Kudzu Vine and lived to tell about it. In fact I had a good time, so I’m sure Sheffield could have handled it. Maybe one of his supporters can tell

What Shows Up When No Reviews Are There?

If you’re an SMB and don’t have any reviews on Yelp but you’ve claimed your listing here’s what it might look like to consumers: This vet has input his business profile and recommended other businesses. The “about this business” information and the ability to recommend other businesses are relatively new features on Yelp. Kudzu allows businesses to recommend each other and Citysearch’s new redesign allows the business to offer a description of itself, which gets prominent placement beside user

The Misty Jungle

A misty evening in a forest where kudzu has taken over the forest floor and many trees offering the appearance of a jungle… 2008 D L Ennis, All rights reserved. Oak Mountain Smoke

Scroll down to see JB’s post about kudzu! If you’ve seen the smoke hovering over northern Shelby County, don’t be alarmed. It’s a controlled burn to train firefighters in a “wild land training course” at the park. They are burning about 60 to 120 acres. Inverness SkyCam

Closed For The Winter!

—————————————————————————————- It is truly one of the most (stubborn) (tenacious) plants in this old world. No, we must say the universe. I sure hope that NASA will not plant a sprig on the moon or Mars. Surely, the moon would be covered in a week and would reflect almost no light from the sun. It would show up at night as a dull brown-gray smudge. I grew up with kudzu and I have been running from it all my life. It does have a semi-good reputation in some respects but it is impossible to k

Ming's Morphs

Thanks to Kudzu's keen power of observation (and willingness to share it), and Cookiecrumb's echo, I was able to find that China Villa has actually moved into the space that Ming Garden occupied for many years in San Anselmo. I had put off an errand to San Anselmo which I was inspired to take care of once I caught wind of the move. When the waiter approached my table the first questions I asked were "Is this the China Villa that used to be in the Northgate Mall?", "Yes", and "Do you still serv

Misty Blue

A misty blue evening in the forest where trees and the earth are being consumed by the kudzu vine…in the southern United States the kudzu is known as “the plant that ate the south.” 2008 D L Ennis, All rights reserved.
