President-elect Barack Obama pioneered the use of new media in his campaign against John McCain, using it to make his message omnipresent on the Internet. Host Matt Miller, normally a deficit hawk, had an interesting piece in Fortune earlier this week entitled "How to Love Trillion-Dollar Deficits." I don't think we would have seen a column like that from Miller had John McCain been elected president.
