Hillary Clinton and Ann Coulter, Buddies?
Now that Ohio and Texas are over, it’s time to take a deep breath and have a snack. We will probably need lots of energy to keep up with the escalating attacks between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Of course, Wyoming has their Democratic caucus on Saturday, but that’s only 18 delegates. And you may remember that Wyoming selected Mitt Romney in their early Republican primary. ‘Nuff said?
We mustn’t forget that Mississippi is having their primaries next Tuesday. That’s 40 delegates for the Dems and 39 delegates for John McCain. After Mississippi, nuthin’s happenin’ until April 22nd, when Pennsylvania will hold their primary battle for 188 delegates.
Delegates-Smellagets! Aren’t you tired of counting delegates? I know I am! So I took a little break this morning and read an article by Ann Coulter.
Now before you start pigeon-holing me, in my own defense, I must insist that I don’t usually read anything by the “witchy” Ms. Coulter. She’s just a little too extreme for my tastes. I have seen her interviewed a couple of times and I think she has done a marvelous job of marketing her “package”. After all, even if half of America hates her, she’s getting lots of publicity and mega-bucks. So, now that I’ve clarified that . . .
The conservative blog TownHallDaily.com posted an article by Ms. Coulter that had me laughing out loud. Coulter is an extremely conservative Republican who hates John McCain, almost as much as she detests B Hussein Obama, as she refers to him. Since she won’t support McCain or Obama, that leaves only Hillary Clinton and Ralph Nader. Ralph is really a non-candidate candidate, so Annie is now encouraging Hillary to “Go, girl, go!”
In the article, entitled Hillary: Stand By Some Other Man, Coulter suggests that Hillary “dump” the other Clinton, Bill. She says,
“If Hillary is serious about becoming president, she’s got to make some changes. I say this as a Hillary supporter and strong opponent of divorce. Hillary: You’ve got to divorce Bill. You’ve already fired one campaign manager. Now it’s time to get rid of your No. 1 buzz-killer.”
and
“Bill is just so over, girlfriend. . . You’re too good for him, Hillary. Obama has now denounced and rejected Louis Farrakhan. It’s time for you to denounce and reject Bill Clinton.”
Once you’ve read the article, you realize that Ms. Coulter is NOT supportive of ANY candidate, and basically lacerates all of them, but her way with words is hysterical. I needed a good laugh and the caustic Ms. Coulter provided it.
